Well... since I have been tagged 4 times with this, I guess I better follow the crowd and fill it out as well.
Welcome to the Holiday edition of getting to know your friends.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? wrapping paper, but I enjoy decking out the boxes with ribbon bows, etc.
2. Real tree or artificial? the verdict is pending this year. We are having our first real tree, which smells like a picturesque ranch in Colorado.
3. When do you put up the tree? Once we get back from traveling on Thanksgiving.
4. When do you take the tree down? This year... day after Christmas, because I don't feel comfortable leaving firewood and kindling in my living room for a couple weeks when I am gone.
5. Do you like eggnog? not really
6. What about Fruitcake? What about it?
7. Favorite gift received as a child? The wrapping paper roll.
8. Do you have a nativity scene? yes, although I'm usually not a big fan, ours is the Willow Creek stuff that is way cool. It will probably stay up all year round this year.
9. Hardest person to buy for? between Katie and I we can usually come up with something for everyone.
10. Easiest person to buy for? Jacey
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I don't recall anything.
12. Mail or email Christmas cards? do you send cards for Christmas?
13. Favorite Christmas Movie? I enjoy most Christmas movies.
14. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Whenever I see a gift that "screams" a certain person's name. (who wouldn't want a yelling gift?)
15. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? oh yes, usually in the form of White Elephant gifts.
16. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? fudge... m & m's... chocolate santas... notice a trend.
17. Clear lights or colored on the tree? both, wrap the inside with clear lights, and the tree glows.
18. Favorite Christmas song? Wizards of Christmas.
19. Travel for Christmas or stay at home? yes.
20. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? no, but I might be able to get all the tribes of Israel, apostles of Jesus, churches in Revelation, books of the Bible, divisions of the Bible... shouldn't that count for something.
21. Angel on the tree top or a star? neither... a Santa hat.
22. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? one on Christmas Eve (always pj's), the rest on Christmas morning.
23. What is the one present you want most this year? a couch
24. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Christmas Decorations before Thanksgiving.
25. What I love most about Christmas? Apple cider...
